Sketching of a finished project. This time I tried to combine both hand drawing and computer. Need to work a bit more on the figure though.

Uni and Photography!

I've been MIA for a looooooong time. Really sorry for no update at all but if you follow me on Twitter and Instagram @theavu you would know I'm still alive.


So I'm officially a 2nd year Fashion student now! No more Fresher, no more "1st year student doesn't know how to do this shit". Second year is extremely hard and stressful and at this stage I personally think who don't have a passion for what they are doing will find themselves lost. Luckily I'm not! I don't have enough time to sleep and play around like 1st year but I'm more excited about all the projects. No more nonsense stuffs. Because I'm enjoying my course so much so if you guys see me hardly update I really sorry but it will happens because I'm also looking for an internship for my placement year as well. Woo hoo fashion industry here I come.

Btw for a very long time no update I did finally got time to do a photoshoot with one of my new model name Lan Ly. She's gorgeous but this is my first time working with her so it's not my best yet. But still! Hope you enjoy this photo inspired by the lovely autumn. I'll post more in the next post! Thank you for stopping by.xx

A little day dreamer.

So, if you follow me on Twitter you might know I finally, after so many practice, hard work, with a very little money to collect all I need step by step, I finally open my handmade shop!

I feel a little bit sad because uni will start soon so I won't have much time like I want to create new stuffs D; But never mind! I can do it, no? After so much thinking I decided to sell through Etsy, actually I want to sell on Big Cartel but you know I don't really have an audience to support me so Etsy seems to be a better choice now. But in very near future I'll start selling handpicked items on Big Cartel so stay tuned for that :D In the mean time please visit my shop at Etsy, I'll list more creation soon!

Cherry for Autumn?

Bad news is my Macbook pro is unrepairable and I have to sell it for a very very cheap price and have to save up to buy a new one. Yes I know you may recommend me to get a PC laptop for cheaper price, but seriously for the same chip, graphic card etc PC laptops are NOT cheaper than Macbook pro. Not to mention I really like Mac OS and Mac's screen is the best I've come across. I heard nice things about Dell ultra sharp but to be honest the price is actually higher so why not another Macbook? I'm working on many stuffs like fashion, graphic design and photography so I think I need it. But this time I'll make sure to buy Apple care. You never know what will happen.

So this time I'm still using my Dell mini, you know Dell mini is very weak it basically can't even run a HD clip smoothly so no Photoshop for me T.T I really miss blogging but I can't bear posting un-edited pictures on here, I just feel like I don't respect my viewers. But I found an website that allow me to edit pictures so I decided to blog a little bit about make-up trend this autumn.

You might notice gothic make-up is making its way back so dark lip is a must. But what's to choose? The best video you can watch about this is from Lisa Eldridge (yes that's her again), she has done a vid since last year I think about all kind of dark lip and how to wear them, also she teamed up with ELLE US for a new tutorial and introduce some new products. She has mention my all time favorite dark lipstick which is Revlon Black Cherry. I love the color, textures and especially the price. For all the drugstore lipstick I've tried, Revlon is the only one brand makes high-end quality lipstick, I'd never buy any lipstick from Mac because Revlon did a lot better. Here is me in Revlon Black Cherry. I recommend you leave the everything very natural : minimum eye make-up (I don't even wear any in this pic) groomed brows and a bit of of contour/bronzer is enough, no blush because it'll be too much, do not over bronzer because it'll look cheap and nasty. All about the lips.

Btw I know not everybody dare to wear dark lipstick, so why not try a lip balm? Korres makes awesome lip butter with hint of color, the one in Wild Rose is perfect for those who want to try this trend but don't want full dark lip. And two brighter version that's worth trying is Burberry Lip Cover in Bright Plum - a vibrant reddish plum which will not too dark, and from the high street Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in No.1 - a classic red but in the dark side which totally wearable. 

It's autumn, my favorite season of the year, and I already feel the sadness in the air. Good sadness, Precious sadness. Put a dark lip on, ladies!

A new chapter.

Hi,

Long time no post (why do I say it all time *slap*). 

If you follow me on Twitter you might know I'm stuck in so many shitty things. I won't tell you the details but biggest thing is my Macbook broken itself (actually I found out that someone split some juice on it, don't know who because I lend it for some of my friends) then I sent it to repair, hopefully get it back in next week. I'm using a Dell mini which I use to read ebook ( like a lady), it's damn weak so I only can access internet and that it. No photoshop. I feel like someone chopped my right hand.

And you might notice I have a Seal Points Netherland Dwaf bunny named Totoro ! He's so precious! And I don't want to lie and sound like a crazy animal lover, my bunny is very playful sometimes crazy but I guess we are learning how to bear each other lol. This is one of my illustration about his mom - Willow and his siblings. I gave it for the breeder to say thank you. I feel I'm lucky that I sent email for him that day through pet4homes, he is a very nice guy and most of all, a true rabbit lover. Totoro is a very healthy and beautiful little bunny (soon to be a fat one I feed him like a pig lol).

Anyway I capture this moment while he is sleeping (silly bunny slept with open eyes lol). He is so cute I don't even...!

Wish upon a star.

I have a wish. A secret wish that only the star know that.

My life is pretty boring right now so I have nothing to blog about but the Meow. But I will blog about some beauty-related things soon. In the mean time, please enjoy The Meow, she is wishing something but I don't know what is it, she won't tell me until it comes true.

Small update./.

Hi ya~

I do like the idea about short blog post. I like writing about random little story than planning a long ass post. But I do plan to write.

So I just back with Low carb diet, it's so strange that a diet allow you to eat a lot. It does work very well to me so now I'm free from Uni I decided to get back to it. I made this chicken dish and it taste awesome but I don't remember the recipe... I'm seriously getting old #fml. I just remember I put a lot of chilli powder on it so I server it with avocado and cherry tomato, so yummy I love! This one for the whole day.

Finally I touched up my brows. I did let them grow crazy lol, but now it's better. Sorry for poor quality I just took a quick photo without thinking putting it on here. I love full brows a lot. I don't get why many of my friends have super thin brows almost nothing?! It's just sooooooooo over-date, or maybe I'm a fashion person myself so I don't get what normal people think. I love full brows and freckles (even though I don't have freckles :(, wish I have) And I don't have any make up in this photo. I bother to coloring this picture but too lazy to airbrush dark circles and some red spots I have atm. But whatever, focus on the brows!
